Speaker 2: Brian M. Delaney - Introductory Remarks and attendees introductions

Founder of President of CR Society. Came in from Stockholm to attend.

Thanked organizers, speakers, and attendees for doing their part.

Exciting time for CR Society and CR Research.

Brian started sci.life-extension. Wasn't happy w/ supplement pushers taking over sci.l-e. After a year of this, he and other realized CR was only known way of slowing aging process, and started CR Society.

Several others co-founded CR Society. Michael Mahaluk had original idea. Lisa Walford and a few others. That was 10 years ago next month.

Exciting times: Gaining insights into human efficacy of CR. Also exciting times in the search for CR mimetics.

He predicts the coming decade we'll know a lot more about these two questions - efficacy of CR and a pill to simulate it.
